Welcome to your life.
March 20,
the day of the labyrinth

March 20
...highly symbolic day, when considered as the last day of winter and the end of the astrological year. people born on this day possess certain unusual gifts as well as special problems. for example, they are in many ways the most highly evolved creatures of the year, when the zodiac is considered as a map of the evolution of the human...on the other hand, they may find it difficult to start certain important endeavors and to leave the past behind. it can take them a very long time to make crucial decisions, particularly those involving big changes in their lives.

the expansive qualities and sometimes unfounded optimism...can land them in hot water. while their dreaminess lends them magnetic charm, it also makes them prone to unreality in their outlook. however, if those born on this day manage to find their true calling and life partner, they will be protected from much that can go wrong.

talents are generally both numerous and diverse, therefore those born on this day may flounder for a while, fishing around for the right path to take. they can also be overly influenced by those in higher positions and somewhat inclined toward hero worship, often at the expense of their own ego. their romanticism, a product of a vivid imagination, can perhaps lead them astray in this respect. by overvaluing the one they worship they tend to unconsciously undervalue themselves. this can lead to a lack of confidence of which they themselves may be unaware.

must also beware of falling into depression, which no amount of admiration (either for...or from others) will help. on the other hand, solid friends and loved ones who can keep them on track are of great importance. ultimately, working toward greater self-assertiveness is the key...avoiding these states.

often drawn toward psychic phenomenon, they may have great talents in this area, but should be extremely careful no to let themselves go overboard. such excesses could lead to an abandonment of reality which would be devastating not only to themselves but also to loved ones. if they can put these talents to use in moderation they will achieve success in life.

sensitivity to music and art are pronounced...who may be particularly drawn to vocal expression. singing, for example, can make an excellent hobby or even profession for those with musical talent. attention to the feelings of others makes those born on this day fine counselors to whom people come to seek advice. in this they should remain objective if possible, for their opinion carries weight and tends to impact heavily on clients, co-workers or friends.

About Pisces
Pisces is one of the less flamboyant signs and its natives are more ordinary than those of, for example, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. Pisceans possess a gentle, patient, malleable nature. They have many generous qualities and are friendly, good natured, kind and compassionate, sensitive to the feelings of those around them, and respond with the utmost sympathy and tact to any suffering they encounter. They are deservedly popular with all kinds of people, partly because their easygoing, affectionate, submissive natures offer no threat or challenge to stronger and more exuberant characters. They accept the people around them and the circumstances in which they find themselves rather than trying to adapt them to suit themselves, and they patiently wait for problems to sort themselves out rather than take the initiative in solving them. They are more readily concerned with the problems of others than with their own.

Their natures tend to be too otherworldly for the practical purposes of living in this world as it is. They exist emotionally rather than rationally, instinctively more than intellectually. Their willpower, ambition they long to be recognized as greatly creative and reasoning are all limited and, however anxious they are to fulfill themselves, their concentration is weak; they lack decisiveness and they are easily diverted from their purposes. They are apt to live a shiftless sort of life, searching for some career in which they can really find themselves, but being easily discouraged they become despondent, feeling unappreciated and moving on to something or someone else. They also dislike disciple and confinement within routine the nine-to-five life is not for them - and confinement by codes of behavior. Any rebellion they make against convention is personal, however, as they do not have the energy to battle against the Establishment.

Pisceans tend to withdraw into a dream world where their qualities can bring mental satisfaction and sometimes, but by no means inevitably, fame and financial reward for they are gifted artistically. They are also versatile and intuitive, have quick understanding, observe and listen well, and are receptive to new ideas and atmospheres. All these factors can combine to produce remarkable creativity in literature, music and art. They may count among their gifts mediumistic qualities which can give them a feeling that their best work comes from outside themselves, "Whispered beyond the misted curtains, screening this world from that." Even when they cannot express themselves creatively they have a greater than average instinct for, and love of, beauty in art and nature, a catlike appreciation of luxury and pleasure, and a yearning for new sensations and travel to remote, exotic places.

They are never egotistical in their personal relationships and give more than they ask from their friends. They are sexually delicate, in the extreme almost asexual, and most Pisceans would want a relationship in which the partner's mind and spirit rather than the body resonated with their own. Unfortunately they can be easily misled by a lover who courts them delicately and in marriage makes them unhappy by a coarser sexuality than they expected. They are nevertheless intensely loyal and home-loving and will remain faithful - though their dreamy and impractical natures do not fit them to keep a tidy and well-run house.

In their employment they are better working either by themselves or in subordinate positions. Their talents are individual in a commercial business or similar undertaking they would be afraid to manage more than a small department, worrying always that they would fail in a crisis. They can make fair secretaries and bookkeepers. Their sympathy equips them for work in charities catering for the needy, as nurses looking after the sick and as veterinary surgeons caring for animals. As librarians or astronomers they can satisfy their mental wanderlust, and their fondness for "faraway places with strange-sounding names" may turn them into sailors or travellers. Many architects and lawyers are Pisceans, and when the creative abilities are combined with gifts of imitation and the ability to enter into the feelings of others, Pisceans find their fulfillment on the stage. Their psychic and spiritual qualities can lead them into careers in the church or as mediums and mystics. They may find an outlet for their creativity as caterers, and are said to make good detectives because they can imagine themselves in the place of criminals and understand how their minds would work. In technical occupations they are well employed in dealing with anaesthetics, fluids, gases and plastics. Because of their lively versatility and inability to concentrate overmuch on any one project, Pisceans often simultaneously follow more than one occupation.

Their faults are exasperating rather than vicious. They can be oversubtle, oversensitive and overemotional. In business they can be unreliable, idle, careless, impractical and ineffective. Their friends may find their diffidence and sense of their own unimportance irritating and may eventually want to shake off acquaintances who not only lack initiative but are peevish and extravagantly temperamental in their dependence on them. Other faults of which the negative Piscean is accused are fickleness, gossiping, indiscretion, effeminacy and gullibility. They may not be able to avoid being sickly, but their fretting hypochondria can wear out a saint's patience. They can be intellectually dishonest and also actually fraudulent, deceitful and hypocritical. They are often indecisive in important matters yet will uphold absurdities with the obstinacy of the weak. When they feel themselves rejected, lonely or failures, or simply through feeble self-indulgence, they will find refuge in drugs or the bottle.

Pisceans are said to be slightly below average height, with poor physiques and weak constitutions. Their bodies are fleshy, squat-limbed and stooping, their faces large and their complexions pale. Their hair and eyes are usually brown and the latter protruding and hooded.

Pisces governs the feet, liver and lymphatics, and its subjects can be threatened by anaemia, boils, ulcers and other skin diseases, especially inflammation of the eyelids, gout, inflammation, heavy periods and foot disorders and lameness.

Pisces - The Myth
The two fish, swimming in opposite directions, are considered to represent two different aspects of the human psyche, co-existing as best they can in the ocean of life. One fish is our 'spiritual' persona - the part of us that is beyond time and space. The other is our need to be a part of the material world. To be a Piscean is to dedicate a lifetime to resolving this primary paradox.

Pisces - The Mission
Pisces is ruled by Neptune, which Holst in his famous planet suite called The Mystic. It is also traditionally linked to Jupiter - bringer of Jollity and a traditional ruler of 'fortune'. Every Piscean sees it as their mission in life to relish the joyous mystery of life... and inspire others to do the same.

Pisces - The Mood
Pisceans often appear to be slightly distant, dreamy and somehow 'living in a world of their own'. In fact, though, they are simply 'living in two worlds at once'. Thus they always have a perspective to offer which is somehow different, intriguing and revealing.

Pisces - The Motive
All a Piscean ever wants from life is inspiration. Pisceans simply do not experience greed, jealousy or a competitive spirit in the same way we other mere mortals feel it. They want, sincerely, to share, uplift and discover more of life's joy with each passing day.

Pisces - The Magic
Pisceans are open minded, imaginative, intuitive, adaptable, kind, benign and often, unconsciously, almost accidentally but nonetheless impressively 'inspired' to the point of sheer genius.

Pisces - The Mask
Pisceans will often avoid conflict or trouble by 'changing the subject'. They will often 'allow you to think whatever you want' rather than tell you what they really think or feel. Sometimes they'll do this by remaining silent. Sometimes, they will say plenty - but you'll be none the wiser by the time they have finished! You can spot a Piscean by the way that two of their closest friends will each describe them as a totally different character!

Pisces - The Match
Pisces people are supposedly best suited to their fellow air signs, Cancer and Scorpio. Often however, this combination will result in a relationship which the empathy is so deep, it is almost painful. For less intensity and more fun, Pisceans may be better paired with their fellow, 'mutable' signs; Sagittarius, Virgo or Gemini. Unions between any of these four tend to be amusing and stimulating - but need hard work if they are to become stable. Of this bunch, Virgo may be the best bet - because Pisces and Virgo lie opposite one another in the zodiac circle. Opposites however, either attract - or repel. If, in this case, they 'repel' the Piscean should seek out a Sagittarian. As well as both being 'mutable' the two signs share a traditional link to Jupiter - and can enjoy a very positive, jovial relationship.

Seducing the Pisces Man: February 19 - March 20 (taken from The Astrology Zone)
This man's vivid imagination and sensitivity (matched in intensity only by fellow water sign Cancer) will endear him to you quickly. Pisces' greatest strength is their creativity. Neptune makes them brilliant at expressing themselves in symbols and gestures. They therefore they make outstanding film makers, photographers, and dancers. Their empathetic nature will make you fall in love with him quickly, for it is possible you've never met a man who knows the inner you so well.

Your Challenge
Pisces sometimes loses himself in his work, especially if he's in a creative field. He needs a regular outlet to express his powerful emotions and insights n the world, so you will have to learn to be supportive of his efforts. At times he can be hard to pin down, but this is usually due to his not yet having made up his mind about an issue. Being a dual sign like Gemini, he likes to look at both sides of every situation before taking a stand.

How To Handle Him
When trying to persuade a Pisces man of anything, do not use facts or logic; appeal to his emotions and intuition. If you press any point too hard or become demanding, he will swim in the other direction. He is gentle to others and expects to be treated in kind. He hates ruts and constricting routines, so a free-form schedule in life is more to his liking.

Another important fact to remember is that Pisces will give freely of himself whenever he can, but if he feels he has been taken advantage of, he will retreat without warning. At that point, it is hard to win back his trust. The Pisces man needs to be appreciated.

This man is not materialistic or money-oriented--don't bug him to ask for a raise or question why he doesn't make more money. He realizes that possessions and money are only earth-bound, temporal things that don't matter much in the grand scheme. He is too spiritual to be concerned with such mundane matters. A deeply philosophical sign, money does not motivate him as much as self-expression and creativity do. (Money does have a way of finding a way to Pisces, nevertheless, so don't think this is a sign doomed to poverty!)

Since Pisces reads body language better than any other sign, don't be surprised if he just seems to know much more about you than you've ever told him. Of course, verbal communication is important too, but keep it delicate and poetic. When delivering criticism to him be diplomatic rather than direct. Pisces men never like anything too gritty and hard-hitting.

Things To Do, Gifts To Buy
An ideal evening to a Pisces man would be to have dinner in an exotic Indian or Asian restaurant, and have a double espresso afterwards in a tiny, dark patisserie, debating a particular moral or ethical issue until the sun comes up. Or take him to the movies--he can't seem to see enough of them.

Since Pisces rules the feet, why not delight your man by surprising him with some special peppermint foot cream and a relaxing foot massage? Their feet are the first area of their body to show signs of stress. Now, the Pisces man's first instinct is to pay attention to you first, so he will have to get used you lavishing attention of him. Be sure to tell him just looking at his body is a wonderful turn-on for you; the Pisces man has less vanity than most signs and may be surprised to hear you say this! Although he may not appear to need it, if you bolster his self-confidence in the bedroom he will turn into a dream lover for you!

A lush tropical island resort would be the perfect locale to seduce your Pisces beloved because he will feel refreshed and uninhibited near bodies of water. On the appointed day, tell him you've packed a picnic lunch and drive him out to the prettiest waterfall you can find on the island (do your research first). Bring along your Polaroid camera (Pisces rules photography) to capture some of the fun. Wearing only a thin T-shirt and string bikini bottom, dare him to follow as you run under the falls. Let yourself become totally drenched, hair and all. Do all this quickly to capture the element of surprise and allow him a moment or two to stare at you in your clingy, now see-though T and skimpy bottom, laughing and beckoning him to join you. Do you honestly not know how this scene ends?
